Karly has been part of the Allensworth & Porter team for the past year as a law clerk, and last week, several of our partners had the pleasure of accompanying her and her family to her swearing-in ceremony with the Honorable Todd Wong.
Karly graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in May 2017 where she focused her studies on construction law and clerked at multiple construction litigation firms in San Antonio and Austin. As for her interest in construction law, Karly says, “I love being challenged by the complexity of construction litigation. Because the practice intersects with multiple areas of law, you have to have a solid understanding of diverse legal issues to truly advocate for your clients. There’s no room for complacency. Allensworth & Porter has a strong reputation in the construction industry, and the firm places a lot of emphasis on mentorship and training. I can’t think of a better place for me to be.”
Neither can we.
“We’re very excited to have Karly on the A&P team. She’s smart and detail-oriented, and she has an exceptionally strong interest in legal analysis that should round out the team wonderfully and help our clients prosper.”
